Bottling Crew

Work, Fun, Whiskey:

The Real Deal

What started as a small business solution (not enough equipment and not enough employees to bottle the whiskey!), has now developed into a cult weekly party. Put your fingerprints on the process and join our team for half a day to help bottle our craft whiskey.

Work, Fun, Whiskey:

The Real Deal

What started as a small business solution (not enough equipment and not enough employees to bottle the whiskey!), has now developed into a cult weekly party. Put your fingerprints on the process and join our team for half a day to help bottle our craft whiskey.

WHAT IS THE CREW?

We typically bottle a new batch of Stranahan's several times per month. On bottling day, we'll bring in two crews. The first crew works the morning shift and the second crew the afternoon shift, with each crew working approximately 4 hours.

Be prepared to have fun and be on your feet for the duration; it's always surprising how quickly the time flies when bottling fine craft whiskey with your friends!

WHAT TO EXPECT

(1) Work. (2) Fun. (3) An experience of a lifetime. This is the real deal. You're bottling a true Colorado-made product that could reach any given corner of the world. You'll be on the bottling line, working side-by-side with our distillers and staff, unloading glass, corking, labeling, capping, shrinking, tagging and boxing.

In order to volunteer you must be able and willing to stand on your feet for the duration of the shift, you must wear sensible work clothes, closed-toed shoes (NO sandals!), you must have a great attitude, and come ready for a good time.

HOW DO I LAND MYSELF ON THE CREW?

Our list of volunteers is about 25,000-strong and always growing. To make things fair, names are drawn randomly from the list, and emails are sent to the lucky few that have been selected to bottle. The first people to respond back will make it onto the crew.

Please do not call or email to inquire about the date of our next bottling and the possibility of your inclusion. If you have been confirmed for a crew, we are counting on you and you're expected to arrive at the distillery, on-time, on the day of the bottling. Failure to report for a crew after you have been confirmed will revoke your eligibility for future crews.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?

In addition to enjoying the rare opportunity to participate in our whiskey-making process, you will get to sample some of the whiskey you bottled that day. We'll treat you to lunch or dinner at the end of your shift and send you home with a well-earned bottle of Stranahan's Whiskey for your efforts. How could life possibly get any better?
