Due to Denver’s high altitude and the usage of new American Charred Oak barrels, Mountain Angel had a unique angel’s share loss that allowed Stranahan’s to achieve a 10-Year-Old Single Malt with a depth of flavors and aromas comparable to a Scotch Whisky more than twice its age.

After 10 years in new American oak barrels, Stranahan’s Mountain Angel is pushing the boundaries of American Single Malt Whiskey, producing a flavor profile never before achieved in the category. Mountain Angel’s very limited quantities is a testament to premium quality, patience and the small batch approach associated with Stranahan’s.
